On April 9, 2024, Ms. Pennapa Kanchana, OAP Deputy Secretary General, presides a hybrid meeting to assess the first-phase implementation (2017 – 2022) of the National Policy and Strategic Development Plan for Nuclear Energy. The meeting goes over several follow-up issues and discusses a draft of the assessment report for the first-phase implementation. This process is expected to help OAP better perform its functions as a national nuclear and radiation regulator, ensuring safety for operators, people and the environment.
