OAP is in with 22 others on the Ministry’s policy to promote EV industry.

        On March 18, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Pasit Lorterapong, OAP Secretary General, signed MOU with 22 other MHESI agencies on driving MHESI’s policy to promote EV Industry. The signing took place in Phayao University and was presided over by the Minister of MHESI. The objective of MOU signing was to demonstrate their intention to push forward the policy and to work together collectively in the following ways.

  1. Formulate a plan to drive the policy to promote EV Industry, including EV HRD, EV Transformation and EV Innovation.
  2. Put the plan into practices by operational units and synergize all efforts to achieve the goal.
  3. Work together on driving the plan and create economic, social and environmental impacts, resulting in the collaborations of private and public sectors domestically and internationally. The end goal is to become the biggest EV hub in Asia and the Pacific and to increase a production of pollution-free vehicle to 30% within 5 years according to the Government.

Note that OAP Secretary General also served in a capacity of the Chair of the Committee on Driving MHESI’s Policy to Promote EV Industry.
