On July 16, 2026, Ms. Ampika Apichaibukol, Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), together with OAP executives, welcomed Mr. Cao Shudong, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA), during his official visit to Thailand to discuss and exchange views on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The meeting was held at the Alpha Conference Room, 4th Floor, OAP 60th Anniversary Building.
