On July 17, 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), in collaboration with the British Embassy Bangkok, hosted the Women in STEM: Thailand–United Kingdom Partnership Event to mark the official visit to Thailand of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. The event highlighted the growing partnership between Thailand and the United Kingdom in higher education, science, research, and innovation, while promoting the vital role of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as key drivers of knowledge-based and innovation-led national development. Held at the Maha Chulalongkorn Building, Chulalongkorn University, the event formed part of broader efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between Thailand and the United Kingdom. It focused on advancing science and technology workforce development, fostering collaboration among universities and research institutions, and promoting innovation exchange between the two countries.
