OAP meets with the Danish team

On April 28, 2025, Thailand’s Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) held a meeting with representatives from the Embassy of Denmark, Seaborg Technologies, and Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC).

The meeting aimed to exchange information on nuclear safety regulations, nuclear energy development in Thailand, floating nuclear power plant concepts, site evaluations for nuclear facilities, and decommissioning of nuclear operations. It also served as a platform to discuss the Compact Molten Salt Reactor (CMSR) technology, which Seaborg is developing in collaboration with GPSC.

The discussion emphasized the importance of international cooperation to ensure the safe, transparent, and sustainable development of nuclear technology in Thailand. This meeting strengthened Thai-Danish collaboration in advancing sustainable nuclear energy and exploring innovative technologies to support Thailand’s clean energy future.
