Dr. Rungreung Kitphati, Director-General of the Department of Science Service and Acting Secretary-General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), announced that OAP is actively implementing the anti-corruption policy of Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi. The policy emphasizes that government agencies must be transparent, accountable, and free from corruption.
Recently, OAP achieved an “Excellent” (E) rating in the Corruption Risk Management Systems (CRMS) Assessment for Fiscal Year 2024, conducted by the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC). The agency scored 95 points in the process related to the approval of radiation-generating devices, reflecting integrity, transparency, and fairness.
Dr. Rungreung credited this success to teamwork across all levels and the strong foundation of good governance laid during the tenure of former Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pasit Lortheeraphong.
The CRMS assessment is a key tool used nationwide to enhance transparent and sustainable public sector governance.
