The Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), is enhancing Thailand’s nuclear and radiological emergency preparedness and response system through the development of the “EPR Smart Plan,” an intelligent early warning platform that enables real-time data integration and situational monitoring. The system is designed to improve the efficiency of emergency management and response operations by providing timely access to critical information, facilitating effective coordination among relevant agencies, and supporting rapid decision-making during emergency situations. The initiative aims to reduce potential risks to the public and the environment while strengthening the country’s overall preparedness for nuclear and radiological emergencies.
