The Office of Atoms for Peace, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, respectfully commemorates Her Royal Highness’s boundless benevolence and extends its deepest condolences. During 2013–2014, while serving as Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Her Royal Highness led the Thai delegation to participate in the 57th and 58th Regular Sessions of the IAEA General Conference.
On those occasions, Her Royal Highness delivered Thailand’s national statements, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, while emphasizing the importance of nuclear safety, nuclear security, and international cooperation. Her vision and leadership strongly supported principles that continue to guide the mission of the Office of Atoms for Peace in regulating and promoting the safe and beneficial use of nuclear and radiation technologies.
Her Royal Highness’s gracious contributions, dedication, and vision will forever remain in the hearts and memories of the Thai people and continue to inspire us in carrying out our duties for the benefit and prosperity of the nation.
With profound sorrow and deepest respect, Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace
