On July 10, 2026, the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), conducted an outreach program for scrap metal industry operators in Rayong Province to enhance knowledge and awareness of nuclear and radiation safety. The initiative also aimed to strengthen collaborative radiation surveillance networks with industrial stakeholders across Thailand’s Eastern Region, reinforcing regional preparedness and promoting the safe management of radioactive materials.
