TINT Leads 13 Agencies to Establish OAP’s HOTNET, Strengthening Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Capacity

On August 26, 2026, Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), assigned Ms. Darunee Peekhunthod, Deputy Secretary General of OAP, to attend and witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the establishment of the “Hub of Talents for Nuclear Energy Technology (HOTNET).” On this occasion, Acting Sub Lt.Surat Hongchan, Director of Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Academy, represented OAP in signing the MOU. The initiative was organized by the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization) (TINT), in collaboration with a network of 13 partner organizations. The establishment of HOTNET aims to integrate knowledge and expertise and strengthen the capabilities of personnel in nuclear energy technology, in support of Thailand’s transition toward clean energy and the future development and applications of nuclear technology. The MOU signing ceremony was held at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, Thailand.
