On August 28, 2026, the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) advanced efforts to strengthen safety in the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. The 18th Meeting of the Subcommittee on Safety in Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel Management for Fiscal Year 2026 was chaired by Professor Dr. Supitcha Chantrayotha, former lecturer in the Department of Nuclear Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. The meeting was held in the Alpha Meeting Room.
