The Office of Atoms for Peace organized the 4th “Nuclear Knowledge Boost” event on July 8, 2025, in Nakhon Si Thammarat to promote understanding of nuclear science and radiation among teachers and educational personnel in Southern Thailand. The program aims to enhance educators’ capacity to communicate accurate and constructive knowledge about nuclear energy and its peaceful applications—such as in medicine, agriculture, industry, and clean energy—to students.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to build a knowledgeable teacher network and change public perceptions of nuclear energy. The previous three events were held in Songkhla, Chiang Mai, and Ratchaburi, all contributing to strengthening nuclear literacy in the education sector.
