Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), presided over the opening ceremony of the training program on the “Review and Revision of the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy Act, B.E. 2559 (2016), and Its Amendments,” held from 26–28 May 2026 at Rachabura Hotel, Ratchaburi Province. More than 90 OAP officials and staff participated in the program, which was organized to enhance knowledge and strengthen the capabilities of personnel responsible for nuclear and radiological regulatory oversight. The initiative aims to improve the effectiveness of regulatory operations and ensure that the legal framework remains aligned with evolving technologies, international standards, and national safety requirements.
