Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop entitled “Establishment of Neutron Standard Dosimetry Laboratory in Thailand”, held from 4–7 August 2026 at the OAP 60th Anniversary Building. On this occasion, he delivered welcoming remarks to international experts and participants from relevant organizations, who convened to exchange technical knowledge and strengthen Thailand’s preparedness for the establishment of the National Neutron Dosimetry Standards Laboratory. The initiative aims to establish a key component of the country’s radiation metrology infrastructure, supporting the growing application of nuclear and radiation technologies while laying the foundation for the future development of Thailand’s nuclear technology capabilities.
