On May 22, 2025, the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, welcomed a group of 14 executives and personnel from the Institute for Scientist Development, Department of Science Service, for a study visit on ISO 29993-certified training management systems. The visit aimed to learn about the development and management of science training programs that meet international standards.
A key highlight of the visit was the presentation of OAP’s Radioactive Source Security Management (RSSM) training course, which is ISO 29993 certified. The course covers radioactive material security management, risk assessment, incident response, and field operations to strengthen the readiness of relevant personnel.
This visit reflects OAP’s role as a pioneer in developing nuclear and radiation training systems in line with international standards and its commitment to supporting government agencies in enhancing human resource development sustainably.
