The Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) organized the third round of the project “Nuclear Knowledge Boost: Thai Teachers and the Advancement of Nuclear Science” on 12 June 2025 in Ratchaburi Province. The project aims to enhance knowledge and foster a positive attitude toward nuclear energy and radiation among secondary and higher education science teachers.
The program featured:
Lectures by OAP nuclear energy experts on fundamental nuclear and radiation knowledge
Discussions on scientifically proven safety measures
Idea exchanges on designing effective learning activities and classroom communication strategies
Guidance on fostering positive youth attitudes toward nuclear technology
Following previous events in Songkhla and Chiang Mai, upcoming sessions are planned for Nakhon Si Thammarat (Round 4) and Udon Thani (Round 5), aiming to expand nuclear and radiation knowledge nationwide and build a network of informed science teachers.
