On May 5, 2026, Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Director-General of the Department of Science Service and Acting Secretary-General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), led OAP executives and officials in participating in a merit-making ceremony, offering dry food alms to Buddhist monks in celebration of the 7th Anniversary of the Establishment of MHESI. The ceremony was held at the King Mongkut Building, MHESI (Yothi road), and was presided over by Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
On this occasion, a certificate presentation ceremony for the “MHESI Outstanding Personnel 2025 Award” was held to recognize personnel who have demonstrated exemplary conduct, integrity, ethical values, and outstanding achievements. A total of 24 individuals from 16 organizations were selected for the award. Representing the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Mr. Yutthana Tumnoi, Expert in Atomic Energy, was among the award recipients. The recognition serves to encourage personnel to continue contributing to the advancement of Thailand’s science, research, and innovation ecosystem and to support the country’s sustainable development.
