In accordance with the Human Resource Development Plan for Fiscal Year 2026, the Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Academy (NRA) implemented an action plan in support of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) management’s policies and organizational objectives. As part of this initiative, the Academy organized an online training program entitled “STRONG Anti-Corruption and Bribery Organization” via Webex on 23 June 2026. The training was attended by 70 OAP officials and staff members. On this occasion, Acting Sub Lt. Surat Hongchan, Director of the Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Academy, delivered the welcoming remarks and shared the management’s policy direction and commitment to integrity, transparency, good governance, and a corruption- and bribery-free organizational culture with OAP personnel.
On this occasion, the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) was honored to welcome guest speakers from the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC): Ms. Kwanchanok Phuechchan, Senior Professional-Level Anti-Corruption Officer, and Ms. Nawaphat Phumapiradee, Practitioner-Level Anti-Corruption Officer.
The speakers delivered presentations on corruption prevention and anti-corruption measures, the prevention of conflicts of interest, the implementation of the No Gift Policy, regulations governing the acceptance of assets or other benefits by state officials as permitted by law and ethical standards, the principles of good governance, compliance with the Code of Ethics for Civil Servants, and approaches to fostering an organizational culture rooted in integrity and accountability.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge, understanding, and ethical awareness, enabling them to perform their official duties with transparency, integrity, and accountability while upholding the public interest.
