พลังงานสะอาดอนาคตต้องมาพร้อมความปลอดภัย: ปส. พร้อมดูแลคนไทย เสริมความมั่นคงรองรับ SMR

                    อย่างไรก็ตาม สำหรับพี่น้องประชาชน “ความมั่นใจในความปลอดภัย” คือสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด!

                    สำนักงานปรมาณูเพื่อสันติ (ปส.) ในฐานะหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลความปลอดภัยทางนิวเคลียร์และรังสีของประเทศ ขอให้ประชาชนมั่นใจว่า “หากประเทศไทยนำเทคโนโลยี SMR มาใช้ในอนาคต ปส. มีความพร้อมเต็มร้อยในการดูแลความปลอดภัยของคนไทยทุกคน”

เตรียมพร้อม 360 องศา: ปกป้องประชาชนด้วยเทคโนโลยีทันสมัย

                    ปส. ได้วางระบบและเตรียมความพร้อมล่วงหน้าในทุกมิติ ทั้งด้านเทคโนโลยี บุคลากร และแผนรับมือ เพื่อให้การดูแลความปลอดภัยครอบคลุม รวดเร็ว และแม่นยำที่สุด:

                    1. เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมสำรวจรังสีสุดไฮเทค: ปส. จัดเตรียมเครื่องมือวัดและสำรวจรังสีมาตรฐานสากล เช่น โดรนและหุ่นยนต์สำรวจรังสี ที่เข้าถึงพื้นที่เสี่ยงได้ทันทีโดยไม่ต้องใช้มนุษย์, รถตู้ฉุกเฉินทางรังสี (Rapid Deployment Unit) ที่เคลื่อนที่เร็วเข้าถึงจุดเกิดเหตุได้ทุกรูปแบบ และ รถห้องปฏิบัติการเคลื่อนที่ ซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนศูนย์บัญชาการและห้องแล็บวิเคราะห์สารรังสีไฮเทคเคลื่อนที่ได้ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง พร้อมระบบสื่อสารผ่านดาวเทียมที่ไม่ขัดข้องแม้ในยามวิกฤต

                    2. บุคลากรเชี่ยวชาญระดับสากล: เจ้าหน้าที่ ปส. ทุกคนผ่านการฝึกอบรม ฝึกซ้อม และปฏิบัติจริงร่วมกับองค์กรระดับโลก เช่น ทบวงการพลังงานปรมาณูระหว่างประเทศ (IAEA) รวมถึงสหรัฐอเมริกา ยุโรป และภาคีเครือข่ายชั้นนำในเอเชีย (ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ จีน) ทำให้มีความเชี่ยวชาญและพร้อมปฏิบัติงานตามมาตรฐานสูงสุดของโลก

                    3. ระบบบัญชาการเดี่ยว (Single Command) ไร้รอยต่อ: ปส. ทำงานร่วมกับ กรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย (ปภ.) และหน่วยงานด้านความมั่นคงอย่างเป็นระบบ ภายใต้ระบบการบัญชาการสถานการณ์ที่เป็นเอกภาพ หากเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน การตัดสินใจและสั่งการจะเป็นไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ถูกต้อง และมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดเพื่อประโยชน์ของประชาชนและอนาคตประเทศไทย

                    การเตรียมความพร้อมอย่างเข้มงวดของ ปส. ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างความอุ่นใจให้แก่ประชาชนในชีวิตประจำวันเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็น “กุญแจสำคัญ” ที่ช่วยปลดล็อกให้ประเทศไทยสามารถก้าวสู่ยุคพลังงานสะอาดได้อย่างมั่นใจ

                    เมื่อประเทศมีความมั่นคงทางพลังงานและมีระบบความปลอดภัยที่ได้รับความไว้วางใจในระดับสากล เศรษฐกิจไทยก็จะเติบโต สิ่งแวดล้อมได้รับการปกป้อง และประชาชนคนไทยก็จะมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นอย่างยั่งยืน

Future Clean Energy Must Come with Safety: OAP Stands Ready to Protect Thais and Enhance Security for SMR Adoption

When discussing “clean energy” today, the term SMR (Small Modular Reactor)—or small modular nuclear reactors—is emerging as a game-changing technology attracting global and national interest in Thailand.

It represents a crucial alternative for building energy security, protecting the environment, and driving sustainable economic growth.

However, for the public, “confidence in safety” is what matters most!

The Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), as the nation’s nuclear and radiation safety regulatory authority, reassures the public: “Should Thailand adopt SMR technology in the future, OAP is 100% prepared to safeguard the safety of all Thai citizens.”

360-Degree Readiness: Protecting the Public with Modern Technology

OAP has established systems and prepared in advance across all dimensions—technology, personnel, and emergency response plans—to ensure safety regulation is comprehensive, rapid, and precise:

1. High-Tech Radiation Survey Technology and Innovation: OAP is equipped with international-standard radiation measurement and survey tools, such as radiation-survey drones and robots capable of entering high-risk areas immediately without risking human life, a Radiation Emergency Rapid Deployment Unit for swift access to any incident location, and a Mobile Radiation Laboratory—a 24/7 mobile command center and high-tech radiation analysis lab featuring redundant satellite communications that remain operational even during crises.

2. Internationally Trained Experts: All OAP officers undergo training, drills, and field operations alongside global organizations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), as well as partners from the United States, Europe, and leading Asian networks (Japan, South Korea, China), ensuring expertise aligned with the highest global standards.

3. Seamless Single Command System: OAP operates seamlessly with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and security agencies under a unified incident command system. In an emergency, decision-making and directives will be executed quickly, accurately, and with maximum efficiency.
